Riedell R3 roller skates are a good choice for getting started in roller derby or recreational skating.
Padded vinyl boots with lightweight Powerdyne nylon plates with adjustable trucks and toe stops, Sonar Striker indoor wheels in 88a hardness for good grip and ABEC-5 bearings. Comes with a skate tool.
