Fredericton’s First Flat Track Derby League

Founded in 2010, the Capital City Rollers promotes the progressive growth and sustainability of women’s flat track roller derby as a competitive sport by implementing a traditional athletic approach. The Capital City Rollers adheres to the principles, guidelines, and regulations of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA).

CCRD was founded in 2010 as the men's team the Glenmore Reservoir Dogs.  The league as then incorporated in August of 2011 as a co-ed league and now has the Dogs (men's team) and their women's teams the Kill JIlls and the Bonnie Situation.

Founded in 2006, Montreal Roller Derby (MTLRD) was the first ever roller derby league in Canada and proudly counts over 130 members today. Ranking first in Canada, the league encompasses
one rookie team, three home teams and two travel teams, one of which is ranked in the world’s top 15.

Oil City Derby Girls was the first flat track roller derby league in Canada, founded in 2005. Our name was Oil City Derby Girls but was changed in 2015 due to us officially becoming a co-ed League. We are now called Oil City Roller Derby and are proud to say we are the only co-ed League in the Edmonton area.

Ringleader Rollergirls - Whitewood, SK

Ringleader Rollergirls are a team based out of Whitewood that has members from Moosomin, Wapella, Whitewood, Stockholm and Broadview. Our season in Whitewood Starts in April and runs through September. We do spring training in Wapella January to April.

Roller Derby Sherbrooke - Sherbrooke, QC

Roller Derby Sherbrooke was founded in June 2014. Its mission is to offer women the opportunity to practice an intensive sport, to develop friendships and to create a strong social network, as well as to organize entertaining and spectacular sporting events.
The league currently counts 25 active players all gathered in one travel team: Les Rebelles.

We began in 2007 in a parking lot in Saskatoon. Our home teams are the Voodoo Vixens and the Parole Models, and our travel A team is the Mindfox and our travel B team is the Killa Bees.

Fort McMurray's only roller derby league, the Tar Sand Betties were established in September of 2010. The Tar Sand Betties are proud to be a competitive women's travel team with aspirations of creating men's and junior's teams, as well as recreational house teams.

The Weyburn Roller Derby Association (WRDA) debuted in 2014. Weyburn’s premier roller derby team, The Strait Jackettes, is on a mission to grow as a stable organization of inspiring, self-confident athletes and positive role models. We are dedicated to bettering our community and actively giving back through involvement with local charities, events, and activities.

The Winnipeg Roller Derby League was founded in 2008. Today, the league features two travel teams (the All-Stars and Bombshell Brawlers) and three house teams (BackSeat Betties, the Corporation, and Valkyries’ Wrath). In 2014, we became full members of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA).
